He is forgiven, though and they proceed to loot the tower, finding the king’s belongings that the giants stole from his grave, and the ghost of the king returns to his tomb. Unfortunately, Kahlvanas steals the King’s kill. They fight another battle, against the female giant in which Buck gets to fight next to a king. Lorderinn gets the giant to push away the boulder, squishing the ghost (who luckily recovers). Due to their failure to destroy Goldenfields, she is sure that Chief Guh will take her husband and add him to her collection of mates. From the giant’s laments, Lorderinn learns that the giant’s is lamenting the possible loss of her husband, Hruk, to their leader, Chief Guh at Grudd Haug. They hear crying and wailing, but after attempting to communicate, nothing is heard. Getting to the tower, the entrance is blocked by a giant boulder. As luck would have it, the giant fumbles, and kills himself with his own club! Deciding not to explore the tomb, they move on to the watchtower. After an epic, and sometimes funny battle, the group manages to kill the ogre. Buck fights heroically, with luck on his side and Kahlvanas assists with his rapier wit and Bardic skills. Lorderinn tries to stop him but fails, and poor Trag is crushed brilliantly by a boulder.

Galaeri promised to show the group a secret way to the Earthen cultists ruins if they escorted him to Goldenfields to find his sister. No one was hurt, but Kahlvanas managed to steal a ruby.Īt the inn, the group met up with Veila, Akroma, Kanithar, Daeric and a local man Kanithar found, named Galaeri. On the second day to Amphail, the group met a rather rich-looking man and his guard who thought they were “highwaymen”. As per her agreement, she gave a critical hint about the “weakness” of the cultists: “They think they can trust dragons”. As they were fighting, the Black dragon appeared and killed the Garnel with dark magic – turning him into what looked like a shade of sorts.
They were targeted at the camp by a group of dragon cultist, and their leader Garnel. Buck Whitman, Kahlvanas, Lorderinn GeschoĪfter camping out in the old campsite close to Amphail, the group decided to return the axe Wingreaver, to the dragon Nurvureem (The Dark Lady).
